"Thr. Aug 1, 1968, 0022 hrs. Dropped starboard anchor in Anchorage F-15, Vung Tau, R.V.N., in 6 fathoms of water, with 36 fathoms of chain. Ships present include various units of the US Seventh Fleet, US Merchant, Vietnamese Navy, and Foreign vessels."
